How fast does failover happen?
Our health checks run every 10 seconds. Once an outage is confirmed (2 consecutive failures), DNS is updated within 30 seconds using low-TTL records and anycast routing — minimizing downtime to under a minute in most cases.
Which cloud providers are supported?
AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and any provider with a public IP or load balancer endpoint. You can also add custom origins for on-premise or hybrid setups.
What happens if Cloud Outage Insurance itself goes down?
Our control plane runs across three independent regions with no single cloud dependency. Health check agents are distributed globally, and DNS TTLs are pre-configured so your last known-good routing persists even if our dashboard is temporarily unreachable.
